Pick up is at Grant Narrows Park in Pitt Meadows, at the public dock near Ayla Canoe Rentals, at the South West end of Pitt Lake, Pitt Meadows (see the map below)

Transportation to the lodge pickup spot can be easily arranged by limousine, rental car, float plane or helicopter. Additional costs apply.

Pickups are Monday, Wednesday and Friday 4pm or 5pm depending on the time of year. 3 day weekend trips are Friday - Monday. We can do some off schedule trips for an additional $200 CDN per group, one way.

FLOAT PLANE

PRIVATE PLANES
Pitt Meadows airport www.pittmeadowsairport.com  This airport is located a short distance from the boat pickup location, also in Pitt Meadows.

GETTING HERE
From Lower Mainland area using HWY #1/Trans Canada Highway

1. Follow PROVINCIAL ROUTE 1 EAST/TRANS CANADA HWY #1.
2. Just before the Port Mann bridge take EXIT 44/UNITED BOULEVARD/7B towards Port Coquitlam/Pitt Meadows/Maple Ridge.
3. Stay on 7B and keep left at the fork going under the bridge. Slight right will be a stop light, CROSS UNITED BLVD and head straight onto MARY HILL BYPASS/PROVINCIAL ROUTE 7B.
4. Follow signs about 5 miles and take HWY 7E RAMP to the right towards Pitt Meadows/Maple Ridge over bridge.
5. LEFT on HARRIS RD. third light after bridge. MCDONALDS AND GROCERY STORE IN MALL ON RIGHT. Signs say Pitt Lake- LEFT.
6. RIGHT ON DEWDNEY TRUNK RD, a three way stop. Travel aprox 1.5 miles east until you reach Neaves RD. Signs on right side say Pitt Lake, Swan-E-Set Golf course.
7. LEFT on Neaves and follow road about 10 miles, past golf courses right to the end of the road where you will find a parking lot and small boat launching docks as well as AYLA CANOES. Parking lot is $5 per day and is secure with a watchman.

GETTING HERE
Vancouver, Lower Mainland Area - Lougheed HWY/Route 7

1.Travel east on Lougheed (Hwy #1)
2. Follow signs East to Pitt Meadows/Maple Ridge/Mission. You will reach a busy intersection that you need to ensure that you follow signs that will take you RIGHT onto what is the continuation of Lougheed Hwy. Barnet HWY turns into Lougheed hwy at this intersection. STAY RIGHT.

Travel east on Lougheed HWY over TWO bridges, the second is Pitt River Bridge.
4. Third light after bridge. LEFT on HARRIS RD. MCDONALDS AND GROCERY STORE IN MALL ON RIGHT. Signs say Pitt Lake- LEFT. Mall with grocery store behind Mcdonalds on right side.
5.
RIGHT ON DEWDNEY TRUNK RD, a three way stop. Travel aprox 1.5 miles east until you reach Neaves RD. Signs on right side say Pitt Lake, Swan-E-Set Golf course.
6. Turn LEFT (at this corner is a sign that says Pitt Lake, and also a white house with a "Welcome to Pitt Meadows" sign in the front yard). Follow Neaves Rd. all the way to the end of the road past Swan-E-Set Golf course (about a 10 minute drive) where you will find yourself at the lake. A secure parking lot, $5 per day is where you will leave your vehicle.

FROM VANCOUVER AIRPORT
1. From the airport go over the Aurther Lang bridge heading to Vancouver.
2. Take the first exit, SE Marine Drive. Travelling east head to New
Westminster. SE Marine Drive will turn into Stewardson Way which then turns into Columbia St. and takes you through the main street of New Westminster.
3. Continue on Columbia St. go under the Patullo Bridge. Continue on in the right hand lane which forks off to the right, onto Brunette Ave. Just past the intersection of Braid St. you will see the exit for Hwy #1 east. FOLLOW DIRECTIONS ABOVE. OR - FOLLOW LOUGHEED HWY/#7 DIRECTIONS ABOVE
4. Continue PAST that exit to the next set of lights which will be the Lougheed Hwy (#7).
5. Turn RIGHT and now travel east following the signs to Pitt Meadows, Maple Ridge and Mission.
6. Once over the Pitt River Bridge follow the directions as above.

FROM MISSION AND ALL POINTS EAST
1. Travel west on Lougheed Hwy to Maple Ridge then to Pitt Meadows.
2. On the right hand side you will come upon the Ramada Inn and Pantry restaurant at Harris Rd. (signs say Pitt Lake).
3. Turn RIGHT. Travel north for a few minutes to a the three way stop
4. turn RIGHT onto Dewdnewy Trunk Rd. travel east.
5. At Neaves Rd. turn LEFT (big white house with a "welcome to Pitt Meadows" sign) and follow Neaves all the way to the end, past Swan-E-Set golf course, (about a 10 min. drive) where you will find yourself at the lake. A secure parking lot, $5 per day is where you will leave your vehicle.

Sumas/Abbotsford Border Crossing
If you are familiar with the area, this is the best way to avoid Vancouver
traffic.

1. Take Hwy 9 north from Bellingham to Sumas border crossing.
2. From the border crossing travel continue on Sumas Way to Abbotsford.
3. At Abbotsford take the Abbotsford Mission Hwy (11) following signs to Mission.
4. Turn west (left) onto the Lougheed Hwy (Hwy #7). Travelling west go through Maple Ridge and you will shortly be in Pitt Meadows.
5. You will come upon the Ramada Inn and Pantry restaurant on your right hand side.
6. Turn RIGHT onto Harris Rd. and follow the directions as above from Mission.

PRIVATE FLOAT PLANES AND BOATS
We are more than happy to arrange docking and tie up at the north end of the lake. Boats under 18 ft are not recommended as Pitt Lake can get very windy.
