A labor of love Pitt River Lodge is crafted by hand from massive timbers , native stone, edge cut fir, wood floors and cedar burls. Our beautiful post and beam style lodge is a remarkably civilized place in the midst of absolute wilderness. Cozy cedar rooms, some with ensuite baths, games room with bar and wrap around covered porch all within minutes of the river ensure that you won't miss a second of fishing time and be able to swap your fishing stories in comfort.
 
During your stay you will be looked after by a friendly dedicated team who will make you feel warmly welcome from the moment they greet you to the moment they wave farewell to those who arrived as guests and left as friends. Consistency is of course paramount in the quality of our guests experiences with us and we continually strive to ensure that whatever your particular wants or needs may be we will do our utmost to meet them.
 
One of the key ingredients of a stay at Pitt River Lodge is the culinary experience. Our cooks delight in preparing good home cooked meals, home-made breads and special desserts. With bountiful supplies of fresh wild salmon from the mighty Fraser River, fresh vegetables, and fruits with wonderful treats, dining at Pitt River Lodge is always a satisfying experience. Breakfast and dinner are served buffet style at our gorgeous 14 ft redwood table and lunch is usually enjoyed stream side or where ever your activities may take you.
 
Our lodge water is safe to drink and is from our mountain creek. Our Small Water System is checked regularly by the Fraser Valley Health Department and is purified through a filter system, then additionally through a ultra violet light system.

Travel Insurance

The resort strongly recommends that all guests purchase travel insurance. A short season prevents the lodge from making exceptions to the 30 day cancellation policy, so be sure to consult travel professionals in advance of booking, regarding trip cancellation insurance.

Non- Fishing Spouse Activities

There are many exciting things to do and see other than fishing. For spouses interested in exploring the valley while your significant other is fishing, we offer a guided tour of the valley...by truck and or hiking you can spend your day in the company of one of our guides. You can also canoe the Red Slough with beautiful grassy marshes to paddle.

Reservations are necessary and the additional rate is $250 per day (one- three people) for up to 5 hrs.

  • guide/raft for fishing each day and for other guided activities including canoeing, hiking and hot spring trips.

  • gear and tackle if needed (spoons if used are not included but are available to purchase).

  • all meals including non alcohol beverages and appetizers, complimentary wine with dinner

  • lodge room- double occupancy, daily maid service

  • arrival is late afternoon and departure is after early breakfast on last day

SINGLE PERSON OCCUPANCY SURCHARGE: GUIDING- $400 per day and accommodation $85 per trip. Guided trips available for canoeing, hiking and hot springs.

Fishing gear is available to rent @ $50 per day/per person.


C) Our COTTAGE PACKAGES are for those who would like to be by themselves and who enjoy cooking. 2 person minimum. Cottages are not available during the month of August.

Two Cottages are available, Mountain View Cottage and River View Cottage.

Mountain View Cottage is ideal for families with children as it has a small loft with 2 single beds and a bedroom downstairs with a queen bed, or for couples who would like to be closer to the lodge. Bathroom with shower, small kitchen and living area with large front porch.

River View Cottage is located on the river with 2 bedrooms which sleeps 4 comfortably. Bathroom with shower, living room and kitchen. Web camera looks at the view of this cottage. Deck overlooking the river.

  • return boat transportation to Grant Narrows Regional Park aprox 45 minutes each way across Pitt Lake
  • each cottage is stocked with cooking utensils, fridge in one, wood stove, propane cook stove and barbeque.
  • bedding is provided as are towels- just bring your food. Vehicle transportation to/from river, dropped off with advice, walk and wade unguided.

After your reservation is made, we ask that you complete a Guest Information Form so that we can make sure that all arrangements are made to make your visit perfect. This can be submitted via fax to 604.460.8166 or by email.

TERMS
We accept Visa, MasterCard, cash.

Payments:
A 25% deposit is required on our confirmation of your booking. This amount can be paid by Visa, MasterCard, money order . To pay by credit card please contact us via our Toll Free number 1-800-665-6206. Send your money order to our mailing address provided below.

The balance of your adventure is due 14 days prior to your arrival.

Refund Policy
In the unlikely event that you have to cancel your trip, your deposit is fully refundable up to 60 days prior to the start date. After which time the following applies:

-50% refundable 30-60 day days prior to the start date.

-less than 30 days prior to the start date your deposit is nonrefundable.

Subject to availability, your deposit can be applied to an alternate date . If we cancel your trip due to unfavorable river conditions then we will refund your deposit or change the dates.

Prices:
All prices quoted are per person and are based on double occupancy. GST (Goods and Service tax), PST (provincial sales tax) and Hotel tax are not included in prices and will be added to final invoice amounts. Credit card charges may very slightly due to daily fluctuations in the exchange rate.

We apologize that while our lodge and property can accommodate moderately physically challenged guests, they do not lend themselves to wheelchairs. There are no elevators, reinforced railings, or specially outfitted bathrooms, and our remote nature and rugged wilderness make wheelchair access to land, boats and activities, next to impossible.
